Emmett Till Memorial Commission
Any person interested in fostering the purposes of the Commission may become a member of the Commission. Membership is divided into two categories, “Voting Members” and “Affiliate Members.”
A voting member must be a person appointed by the Tallahatchie County Board of Supervisors to serve on the Commission, and these members will be called the Board of Directors.
Affiliate Members include those who have not been appointed by the Tallahatchie County Board of Supervisors to serve on the Commission but have a sincere interest in fostering the Purposes of the Commission and have given their name, telephone number, mailing address, and email address to the Secretary. Affiliate Members do not vote on matters brought before the Commission but may serve on committees and present matters for consideration to the Board of Directors.
